Job summary

CEMS Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer for electrical design from concept to completion at our Summerville, SC office.

Ideal candidates will handle interior and exterior power distribution, lighting, lighting control systems, and telecommunications with strong communication skills. Minimum requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering, familiarity with NFPA 70, and 4+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70, National Electrical Code.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and other standard MS Office programs.
• Minimum 4 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to travel and perform field site visits documenting current conditions as well as attending client design conferences, reviews, and project meetings.

Responsibilities

• Design interior and exterior power distribution, lighting, and lighting control systems.
• Serve as an electrical systems designer on projects along the east coast.
• Collaborate with clients and attend design conferences, reviews, and project meetings.
