Job summary

Essity AB in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead capital projects that drive growth and support continuous improvement in high-speed manufacturing. You will provide electrical expertise, oversee installation, startup, and validation of equipment, and ensure safe, efficient performance across the site.

You will program PLCs/HMI, optimize controls for throughput and waste reduction, and serve as a technical resource for operators and technicians while maintaining

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of project engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with CAD (AutoCAD or ePlan) and electrical distribution.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Develop project scopes, estimates and schedules.
• Oversee installation, startup and validation of new equipment.
• Maintain site electrical distribution systems.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting for high-speed lines.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, drives, motion control systems.
• Ensure safety and compliance with NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA.
