Job summary

Rising Edge Group in Dallas, TX is hiring a Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of electrical contracting projects. You will work under the Project Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, applying strong technical and organizational skills.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of project engineering experience in construction or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project or Primavera).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project alignment.
• Review technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain all project technical documentation including plans, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks proactively, implementing solutions as necessary.
• Support the procurement process by preparing RFQs and assisting in bid evaluations.
• Facilitate effective communication within the project team and document all project-related decisions and changes.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, including reports, presentations, and final deliverables.
• Contribute to project close-out activities to ensure all requirements have been met and lessons learned are documented.
