Weston & Sampson is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join its growing electrical group in Reading, MA. The role involves design and construction administration for education, commercial, water, wastewater, and municipal projects, with a focus on power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and NEC compliance.

You will produce contract drawings, perform field investigations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–10 years of engineering firm experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Understanding of building electrical systems and NEC.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and design for new and renovation projects.
• Produce contract drawings, field investigations, shop drawings, and reports.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.
• Independent work with minimal oversight and cross-discipline coordination.
