Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to design and construction administration for educational, commercial, water, wastewater and municipal projects. You will work on power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems in a multi-disciplinary firm with a rich history since 1899.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and leadership within a team of over 1,000 employee-owners, with a focus on improving communities through resilient infrastructure

Qualifications

• Engineer/Technical degree or equivalent experience required.
• 0-10 years of experience in engineering firm preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and design for new and renovation projects across facility types.
• Produce contract drawings, field investigations, shop drawings, and reports; participate in project meetings.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, sub-consultants, vendors and clients.
• Work independently with minimal oversight and initiate coordination with other building systems.
