Qualifications

• 1 - 5 years related experience in electrical industry.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering desirable but not required.
• Knowledge of the electrical construction industry, contract documentation, and the National Electrical Code and design.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.
• Experience performing electrical/construction/engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Director of Engineering and provide direction in the field regarding technical and quality issues.
• Work with the Systems Manager to facilitate and support the testing work being performed in the field.
• Work with the Project Manager and Field Supervision to develop Plans for future work.
• Under oversight of the Project Manager, maintain schedules and status updates.
• Assist in developing and implementing project-specific BIM strategies, scope, and plan for the work.
• Utilize Revit MEP or AutoCAD MEP to create installation shop drawings and sketches from contract drawings.
• Responsible for layout of electrical systems, including cable trays, conduits and equipment in 3D for BIM coordination.
• Travel to various project sites is required.
