Dynamic role responsible for the management and production of building infrastructure design systems. Successful candidate will possess the capability to work independently to complete most projects, from proposal to closeout, with limited assistance from a Senior Engineer or Director.

Job Summary

• Support electrical and lighting design for various projects, including power systems, lighting, fire alarm, and other electrical components for buildings.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and regulations set by local authorities, and that drawings adhere to company standards.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into building designs.
• Incorporate energy-efficient technologies and practices into electrical designs to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
• Estimate costs related to electrical designs and ensure projects stay within budget.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of electrical systems to verify proper function and performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during design, construction, or operation phases.
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation to guide construction and maintenance.
• Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering technologies, building codes, and industry standards.
• Perform construction administration and field investigations for lighting, power, and fire alarm systems.
• Collaborate with Technical Leaders and Senior Engineers to ensure adherence to WB standards and manage workload and project scope deviations.
• Attend project meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5-7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of applicable design and building codes.
• Adopt a consultative approach to problem-solving.
