The company seeks a degreed electrical engineer eager to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment within a growing organization. The role involves collaborating with senior staff from initial design to construction and commissioning of various facilities projects across industries like education, public works, water/wastewater, transportation, healthcare, and aviation. Candidates should have experience with building electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, and communication systems.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

1. Perform design computations.
2. Design projects per client specifications using software and drawing tools.
3. Develop construction cost estimates.
4. Prepare contract plans, specifications, and estimates.
5. Attend client meetings.
6. Coordinate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple offices.
• Understanding of NEC, IBC, and NFPA codes for electrical design.

Minimum Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in electrical power systems, fire alarm design, telecommunications, or security systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Autodesk CADD, Revit, and discipline-specific design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Professional Engineer License.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Bentley Microstation, SKM Power Tools, ETAP, AGi32, or ElumTools.
• Experience working with government agencies and familiarity with relevant codes.

Working Conditions

Primarily office-based with occasional fieldwork in various environmental conditions. Some regional travel may be required.
