Austin Allen Company - Professional Recruitment seeks an Electrical Project Engineer for major capital projects in a wood products environment. This role acts as the electrical SME from concept to startup across multiple facilities.

You will lead feasibility through startup, manage budgets and schedules, and set electrical architecture and standards while coordinating with designers, contractors, and leadership. Travel about 30% is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive industrial capital project engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading multi-million-dollar projects from concept through completion.
• Strong knowledge of 480V electrical distribution, MCCs, VFDs and industrial power systems.
• Experience with EasyPower, arc flash and coordination studies.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.

Minimum requirements for this Electrical Project Engineer position:

• Experience with MS Project, AutoCAD and advanced project management systems
• Wood products or heavy industrial manufacturing experience preferred
