Our client is a leading industrial electrical contractor delivering complex electrical infrastructure projects across Northern California. With a strong pipeline of work spanning industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, data centers, water and wastewater treatment plants, and other mission-critical infrastructure, they are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join their growing team.

Responsibilities
- Support the successful delivery of industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Assist Project Managers with scheduling, procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Track material procurement and equipment deliveries.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate documentation.
- Assist with project planning, commissioning activities, and turnover documentation.
- Monitor project progress and help identify solutions to technical and construction challenges.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Experience
- 2-6+ years of experience as a Project Engineer on electrical construction projects.
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, water/wastewater, semiconductor, energy, or data center projects.
- Understanding of electrical power distribution systems.
- Experience with switchgear, switchboards, transformers, generators, MCCs, bus duct, underground electrical systems, or medium-voltage installations is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
