QTS Data Centers is seeking an experienced Development Program Manager - Electrical SME to lead and guide electrical design across mission-critical projects. You will set standards, steer system architecture, select equipment strategies, and ensure reliability from design through turnover.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration with facilities, design, construction, and procurement teams, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years in electrical design engineering or related areas.
• 4–8 years leading mission-critical design or technical programs.
• Experience with NEC and electrical codes.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Electrical SME across multiple development projects.
• Review electrical drawings, specs, calculations, and equipment selections.
• Drive standards, quality, and consistency across projects.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure code compliance.
• Define requirements and communicate direction to teams.
• Support risk management and design issue resolution.
• Develop and review short-circuit and arc-flash studies.
