Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Product Sustainment Engineer in Costa Mesa, CA. You will keep production running by triaging field and production failures, driving root cause investigations, and managing data to understand population‑level impact.

You will collaborate across Quality, Supply Chain, and Production Operations to ensure builds stay on plan and to surface critical issues. The role requires a US Secret clearance, 1–3+ years in hardware development or manufacturing

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in hardware product development, sustainment, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with root cause analysis and structured problem‑solving methods (8D, 5 Whys, fishbone, FMEA).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices for each design.

Responsibilities

• Triage production and field failures, prioritizing by severity and impact.
• Drive root cause investigations to closure with corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze failure and field data to quantify population impact and trends.
• Work with Quality, Supply Chain, and Production Operations to keep builds on plan.
• Surface issues threatening the build schedule and drive resolutions.
• Implement design and process changes to improve yield and reliability.
• Support production test, debug, and failure analysis at board/system level.
• Track sustainment metrics and open production issues.
