Job summary

ArchKey Solutions in San Jose, CA is seeking an Electrical Prefabrication Designer to translate project intent into efficient, code-compliant prefabrication deliverables. You will develop build sheets and diagrams for wall roughs, lighting controls, and electrical rooms, while ensuring NEC compliance and quality.

Join a team that partners with VDC, project managers, and field crews to optimize layouts, sequences, and packaging for delivery and installation. 5+ years of相关 experience required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical prefabrication, detailing, or design.
• Journeyman Inside Wireman certification or equivalent field experience.
• Experience with NEC requirements and constructability standards.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and Excel; familiarity with Word/Outlook.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed prefabrication build sheets, layouts, and diagrams for wall rough, lighting controls, and electrical rooms.
• Review drawings for NEC compliance and constructability; coordinate with teams.
• Create and annotate prefabrication documentation using Bluebeam and Excel; BIM tools a plus.
• Support procurement, maintain version control, and track design approvals.
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and prefabrication shop to meet schedules.
