Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking an Electrical Prefabrication Designer to advance prefabrication operations by developing detailed, code-compliant design solutions for wall rough, lighting control, conduit systems, and electrical room builds.

You will work closely with project teams, field leadership, VDC, and production to improve field efficiency, standardization, and quality while adhering to NEC requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology, Electrical Design, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical prefabrication, detailing, or design roles.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or other design/BIM software.

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed prefabrication build sheets, layout drawings, riser diagrams and assembly diagrams.
• Reviews construction drawings for NEC compliance and constructability.
• Prepares material take-offs and supports procurement coordination for prefabrication.
• Collaborates with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen and Prefabrication Shop teams to align deliverables with project goals.
• Mentors field, shop and design personnel on prefabrication standards and best practices.
