Job summary

VarcoMac seeks an Electrical Pre-Fab Detailer to turn complex electrical designs into precise Revit-based drawings in Chantilly, VA. You’ll work with the BIM Coordination team, Pre-Fab Shop Managers, and field crews to deliver shop drawings, prefabrication build drawings, details and spool sheets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical BIM detailing and 3D coordination.
• Strong skills with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Familiarity with electrical systems in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop Revit-based field installation drawings and spool sheets for electrical projects.
• Collaborate with BIM Coordination team and Field teams to ensure buildable designs.
• Support 3D coordination and visualization using Autodesk tools.
• Translate 3D models into practical documentation for prefabrication.
• Drive detailing efficiency with EVOLVE and other digital tools.
• Contribute to process improvements and templates.
