Job summary

The Detailer at CEC Companies participates in modeling efforts for 3D coordination and shop drawings for large educational, institutional, commercial projects. The ideal candidate is self-driven, detail oriented, with strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities include generating construction drawings with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks, reviewing drawings for conflicts, coordinating with field personnel and vendors, attending coordination meetings, and

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
One year Revit and AutoCAD, and Navisworks experience.
Minimum of three years trade experience in field installation with solid skills.

Responsibilities

Generates construction and fabrication drawings using CADD for large commercial/industrial projects.
Reviews drawings for conflicts with contract documents and codes.
Coordinates with project management, field personnel, vendors and design engineers.
Coordinates each trades layout; attends coordination meetings.
Performs site surveys and field measurements to support drawings.
Maintains logs for RFIs, transmittals, and drawings.
Develops BOMs and routing schedules; uses BIM field tools.
