Job summary

Qualus is seeking an Engineer III - Electrical in our Engineering department in Olde West Chester, Ohio. You will perform power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, and harmonic analysis, and present results to customers to design cost-effective mitigations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 4+ years of experience with SKM, ETAP, or Easypower.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• 4+ years' experience performing power system studies for industrial customers.
• Experience with SKM, ETAP, and/or Easypower.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and strong communication.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies for various facilities using SKM, ETAP, and/or Easypower.
• Apply knowledge of low/medium-voltage gear to determine cost-effective mitigation solutions from study results.
• Develop study reports and communicate results to customers.
• Develop relay protective setpoints and settings files.
• Develop and update one-lines, three-lines, and wiring diagrams.
