Job summary

Synectics Inc. in Red Wing, MN, is seeking an Electrical Reliability Engineer to lead reliability initiatives and manage electrical capital and maintenance projects in our power-generating plant environment.

You will oversee upgrades of switchgear, transformers, and medium/high-voltage equipment, coordinate with operations teams, and drive projects from conception through close-out while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree preferred from ABET-accredited program.
• Experience in utility, power generation, or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience with medium- and high-voltage equipment and power systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical reliability initiatives and manage electrical capital and maintenance projects.
• Upgrade and replace switchgear, transformers, and HV equipment.
• Develop, scope, budget, bid, execute, and close out projects.
• Attend daily 7:00 AM plant status meeting and manage active projects.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and contractors.
