Job summary

HireTalent is seeking Electrical Engineers to support power generation facilities in Minnesota and Wisconsin. You will serve as the primary electrical resource at your plant, leading upgrades from concept through completion and collaborating with operations, maintenance, and leadership to improve reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes project management, reliability engineering, and hands-on troubleshooting within a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
2+ years of relevant engineering experience in utilities, power generation, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments.
Experience with medium-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.
Experience managing projects from development through closeout.
Troubleshooting and reliability engineering experience.
Strong understanding of industrial electrical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as onsite electrical engineering expert supporting plant operations and maintenance.
Lead electrical reliability initiatives and provide troubleshooting support.
Develop, scope, budget, bid, manage, execute, and close out electrical capital and maintenance projects.
Support upgrades and replacement projects involving switchgear, transformers, MV/HV equipment.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to improve plant performance.
Interface with contractors, consultants, stakeholders; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Support outages, modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
