Job summary

EWI Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our growing water and wastewater team in Raleigh, NC. You will deliver electrical engineering solutions for treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, and infrastructure, guiding projects from concept through construction and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
•  Experience in electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design calculations, specifications, drawings, schedules and technical reports.
• Design and review power distribution systems, motor control centres, standby generation, transformers, cable systems and earthing arrangements.
• Develop lighting, small power, control and instrumentation interfaces for water and wastewater facilities.
• Support the preparation of tender documents, cost estimates and equipment specifications.
• Undertake site visits, surveys and inspections, assisting with construction support and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate designs with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers and clients.
• Review technical submissions, respond to RFIs and help resolve site-based issues.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, health and safety requirements and project specifications.
