Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Shop Technician II, Repair, based at the New Stanton, PA facility. You will evaluate and repair electrical assemblies and PCBs, perform wiring and soldering, and test using standard procedures under supervision.

This anchor on-site role reports to the Assistant Area Manager, I&C Operations, five days a week. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of electrical/PCB experience; nuclear industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years experience with electrical and PCB skills.
• Preferred: Nuclear industry experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair electrical assemblies and PCBs.
• Perform electrical wiring, soldering and testing following procedures.
• Install components, units, subassemblies and wiring.
• Operate electrical/electronic test equipment.
