Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Production Assembler in Wentzville, MO to perform mechanical and electrical assembly for circuit boards. This hands-on role involves wiring, testing, and preparing finished goods for shipment in a fast-paced shop.

The position is contract to hire, onsite, paying $20–$22 per hour, with benefits listed and a climate-controlled transition in the works. Candidates should be comfortable with tools and physical work in a small shop setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or assembly instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, drill guns, and other power tools.
• Basic wiring and electrical assembly experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to lift materials and products as needed.
• Comfortable working in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools.
• Read and follow drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
• Perform panel wiring and electrical assembly.
• Test products and complete basic quality checks.
• Label products and enter production data as needed.
• Rework or repair products that do not meet quality standards.
• Assist with inventory, cycle counts, packaging, and palletizing shipments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
