Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Panel Assembler to join a manufacturing team in Reading, PA. The role focuses on assembling and binding wires into wire harnesses, following screen-based work instructions and using hand and power tools.

You will read simple drawings, safety protocols, and record production data on a computer. The position is fully onsite with opportunities for overtime and growth into higher‑level roles.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience in assembly environment.
• Experience with electrical wiring/assembly.
• Ability to follow detailed pc- or screen-guided instructions.
• Ability to read basic drawings or schematics.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to operate a computer and touchscreen in English.
• Adherence to safety policies and PPE usage.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wire harnesses per specifications and work instructions.
• Bind wires using ties, lacing, conduit, and sleeves as per plans.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete wiring tasks.
• Follow safety standards and wear PPE.
• Read basic drawings and schematics to support assembly.
• Record production data and navigate instructions on a computer.
• Meet daily/weekly production targets while maintaining quality.
• Support Lean initiatives and 5S for workplace organization.
• Work independently at a workstation and collaborate as needed.
