Job summary

Alterman, Inc. is seeking a Control Panel Builder I in Texas to learn and perform basic assembly, fabrication, wiring, and documentation practices used to manufacture industrial instrumentation and control panels. Work is performed under direct supervision and established shop procedures.

You will interpret schematics, assemble panels, terminate conductors, and verify workmanship to drawings, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in control panel building or related manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate control panels according to drawings.
• Wire control panel products per project requirements.
• Install electrical components following panel-shop standards.
• Interpret schematics, BOMs, and wiring diagrams.
• Test and verify completed work against drawings; report discrepancies.
• Support Panel Builder 1 and others as needed.
• Complete routine panel builds within labor hours and quality requirements.
• Assist in other panel shop activities as needed.
