Job summary

Alterman, Inc. is seeking a Control Panel Builder III to assemble and fabricate control panels for instrumentation and controls projects in the Industrial sector, including water/wastewater and food and beverage facilities.

Candidate will wire panels, install components, read schematics, and follow Bills of Materials and assembly drawings. Must be able to lift and operate fabrication tools in a workshop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years related experience OR a combination of education and related experience.
• Knowledgeable of electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, electrical equipment, and hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Wires and assembles control panel products.
• Installs electrical components.
• Interprets electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Cuts, strips, crimps, and wires various AWG gauges per print with accuracy.
• Works with documents like Bills of Materials, assembly drawings, and wiring schematics.
• Assists in other manufacturing areas (shears, press brake, drill press, saw, manual punch) as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
