Job summary

Lonestar Integrated Solutions seeks an experienced Electrical Control Panel Assembler to fabricate, assemble, wire, and test industrial panels in a controlled shop environment in Houston, TX. You will read schematics, install components, and ensure quality workmanship.

The role requires strong attention to detail, experience with MCCs/power panels, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience building and wiring industrial electrical control panels.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical components and control systems.
• Experience with relays, contactors, VFDs, soft starters, and motor control equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of UL 508A and NEC requirements for panel construction.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, build, assemble, and wire electrical control panels per drawings and specs.
• Install relays, contactors, VFDs, soft starters, PLC and I/O components.
• Lay out components on panels with regard to wiring, heat, and serviceability.
• Perform wiring, labeling, and wire dressing per standards.
• Read and interpret schematics, bill of materials, and layouts.
• Verify wiring against drawings and conduct inspections and tests.
• Assist with panel testing, troubleshooting, and drawing issue communication.
• Maintain clean, safe workstations and adhere to safety procedures.
• Collaborate with leads, engineering, and production to resolve questions.
