Job summary

Alterman Group Inc. is seeking a Control Panel Builder III to assemble and fabricate control panels for instrumentation and controls projects in the Industrial sector, including Water/ Wastewater and Food & Beverage.

Responsibilities include wiring, interpreting schematics, and supporting fabrication with safety and accuracy. The role requires a high school diploma and at least 3 years of related experience, plus proficiency with hand tools and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience OR a combination of education and related experience required.
• Knowledgeable of electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, electrical equipment, and hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Installs electrical components.
• Interprets electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Cuts, strips, crimps, and wires various AWG gauges per print with a high degree of accuracy.
• Understands and utilizes Bills of Material, assembly drawings, wiring schematics and diagrams.
• Assists in other areas of manufacturing as needed (e.g. shears, press brake, drill press, saw, manual punch).
