Job summary

Powermatic is seeking a Production Technician in Livermore, CA to assemble electrical components and wire complex layouts inside enclosures. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and adherence to design specifications are essential.

Responsibilities include wiring harnesses, scrambling panel boards with a multimeter for continuity, and coordinating with engineers on wiring decisions while maintaining a clean 5S workspace in a typical M-F shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and lay out components on a system according to design specifications.
• Wire and route cable harnesses within electrical cabinets per wiring schematics.
• Verify panel boards using a multimeter, ensuring continuity and functionality.
• Assist in wiring decisions based on training, engineering and data charts.
• Use hand tools to make cuts, strips, bends, and form wire cable and conduit.
• Solder connections and crimps connectors to wire ends.
• Discuss issues in diagrams or panel with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to 5S standards.
• Other job-related duties as assigned
