Job summary

Control Panels USA Inc in Georgetown, TX is seeking a manufacturing technician to assist lead technicians in assembling panel box units and relay racks. You will move between departments as needed and gain skills to advance toward a lead technician role.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, using hand and power tools, wiring, labeling, and ensuring parts meet drawings and tolerances. A detail‑oriented, safety‑minded team player with good communication is ideal.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience and/or knowledge of electrical theory and/or electrical assembly
• The ability to read schematics is required.
• Attentive to details

• Great communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components, align and fasten units to subassemblies or frames using hand and power tools.
• Drill, tab, ream, countersink, and spot-face bolt holes in parts per schematic specifications.
• Cut and connect cables and/or wires to PLC cards, terminal blocks, power supplies and relay blocks per schematics.
• Label wires and components and install identification labels and UL labels as directed.
• Cut and install wire way and covers, tubing and other items as directed and according to schematic specifications.
• Measure parts to determine tolerances using tape measure, ruler, calipers, and micrometers.
• Assist in inspecting, testing, and correcting issues to ensure units meet specifications and requirements.
• Study schematics to diagnose issues and understand component functionality.
