Job summary

Daedalus Industrial in Powdersville, SC is seeking an Electrical Panel Assembly Associate to perform assembly steps at multiple stations, following standard work instructions and drawings to produce quality control panels. You will complete subassemblies, verify with in-process checks, and hand off work to the next station on schedule.

Qualifications

• Production or assembly experience in electrical manufacturing.
• Follow standard work instructions, visual aids, and basic drawings or wire lists.
• Experience using basic hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, nut drivers, and torque tools.
• Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, scale, calipers) accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently and accurately.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with electrical components, wiring diagrams, or UL508A standards a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned assembly tasks at one or more workstations, following standard work instructions, visual aids, and drawings.
• Cut, strip, crimp, label wire and prepare subassemblies to specification.
• Mount and secure components such as DIN rail, wire duct, terminal blocks, and devices per work instructions and torque specifications.
• Perform in-process quality checks on completed work and report defects, missing parts, or discrepancies to the team lead or Quality.
• Meet production targets and hand off completed work to the next station on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow 5S and safety practices.
• Collaborate with Panel Build Technicians, Quality Inspection Technicians, and Operations staff to keep work flowing and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Safely operate hand tools, measuring devices, and shop equipment required for panel assembly.
• Cross-train on additional workstations and support other shop activities, including receiving material and preparation, as needed.
