Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Panel Assembler for a contract-to-hire role in Smyrna, TN. You will interpret electrical schematics and wire industrial control panels, handling transformers, relays, drives, PLCs, and testing to ensure quality.

This fully onsite 1st shift position runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:15 pm. ESOP and competitive benefits accompany on-site work; entry-level electrical training candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience wiring and assembling industrial control panels.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools, micrometers, and power tools.
• 1–3 years of relevant electrical assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Wire and assemble industrial control panels with transformers, relays, drives, and PLCs.
• Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting on completed panels.
• Work with high-voltage (480V AC) and low-voltage (24V DC) systems.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble electrical enclosures and panel components.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment while meeting production deadlines.
