Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2–5 years of successful outside sales experience in the Electrical Distribution or related industrial sector.
• Proven experience working with Owners, Purchasing Agents, Maintenance and Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Estimators.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products, their applications, and industry-specific solutions.
• Ability to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product features, benefits, and competitive positioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic customer relationships with a deep understanding of client operations and project needs.
• Close sales, handle objections, and execute effective selling techniques.
• Determine sales priorities based on revenue potential and account strategy.
• Price setting and negotiation to ensure competitive and profitable outcomes.
• Schedule and conduct joint sales calls with shared service divisions and coordinate with Inside Sales teams to support customer needs.
• Monitor and report on competitive activity and market trends.
