Job summary

M and M Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to lead our residential electrical operations in Colorado. You will guide a high-performing team, ensure code compliance, and drive safety and quality across all projects.

The role requires a Colorado Master Electrician license and 5+ years of licensed electrical experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Active Colorado Master Electrician License required.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician; management or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong residential electrical experience; HVAC-related electrical experience preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of NEC, Colorado electrical codes, permitting, and inspection requirements.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and resolve technical issues.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical documentation.
Working knowledge of VFDs, motor starters, control systems, and related electrical components.
Experience leading, mentoring, and developing electricians and apprentices.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily electrical operations, ensuring work is completed safely and to quality standards.
Perform and support residential electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and upgrades (panels, service changes, rewiring, EV chargers).
Complete and oversee electrical work with HVAC installations (furnaces, air handlers, condensers, thermostats, zoning).
Provide technical guidance and field support to electricians, apprentices, and installation teams.
Mentor, train, and develop apprentices and journeyman electricians to improve skills and quality.
Review electrical work for NEC & Colorado code compliance, permits, and company standards.
