Job summary

Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine seeks an Assistant Superintendent, Electrical to lead electrical operations across assigned areas. You will coach and mentor front line supervisors, ensure safety, quality, and on-time execution of trade work in support of ship/unit construction schedules.

Under BIW BOS, you will manage manpower, provide technical guidance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in cost, schedule, and quality while developing your team’s leadership and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical or equivalent with 5 years in electrical trade.
• Minimum 5 years of supervision/management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/shipbuilding environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• EVMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and enforce standards across operations.
• Oversee electrical construction activities to meet ship/unit schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and coordinate with area management.
• Mentor front-line supervisors and coach on problem solving.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce rework.
