Job summary

CPG is seeking an MEP Manager, Electrical to lead coordination of electrical trades on major construction projects in Fredericksburg, VA.

You will work with the Project Team to ensure successful installation and turnover of all MEP systems, supervise subcontractors, manage schedules, and review drawings for compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and Procore familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate degree in mechanical/electrical or fire protection/life-safety engineering, or construction management.
• Construction trades experience with increasing responsibility and ability to direct others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Procore experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead Electrical trades on large construction projects.
• Review contract documents and drawings for MEP applicability.
• Manage MEP subcontractors from groundbreaking through turnover.
• Coordinate MEP installation schedules and site logistics.
• Inspect and verify MEP installations; oversee torque/meggar reports.
• Conduct coordination meetings and report progress (Procore).
• Mentor project staff and resolve installation conflicts.
• Travel up to 70% with rotation on-site and remote weeks.
