Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. seeks an MEP Construction Coordinator to bridge owner project requirements with on-site activities and commissioning. You will lead documentation, ensure quality, and foster cross-trade communication on complex projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of construction experience (electrical preferred), proficiency with Procore, and the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications while traveling within North America as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction experience, preference for electrical backgrounds.
• 2 years of trade school, college, or equivalent journeyman experience.
• Proficiency in Procore and Adobe/PDF editing tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams.
• Working knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switchgear systems, with exposure to commissioning and EPMS/SCADA concepts.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within North America as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Preferred: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire); Schneider PME certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate installation methods to align with project design requirements, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
• Serve as a primary point of contact onsite, facilitating communication between owner representatives, subcontractors, field service representatives, and commissioning agents.
• Lead and document commissioning readiness activities, including pre-functional checks and load-soak preparation, while maintaining structured reporting.
• Manage field documentation using Procore, including punch lists, pre-task verifications, and safety walkdowns (such as LOTO and PPE compliance).
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including photos, checklists, and punch items, and communicate project status and risks to leadership and clients.
• Escalate issues as needed to keep the project schedule on track, especially when project leadership is offsite.
