Job summary

Heapy Engineering, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead electrical and MEP infrastructure projects from planning through execution.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and coordination while maintaining strong client and contractor relationships. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of electrical construction or MEP project experience, excellent communication, and a collaborative, proactive mindset in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a 4-year degree and 7–10 years of experience in electrical infrastructure or complex MEP construction.
• OSHA Safety Training/Certification is required.
• Experience managing electrical infrastructure projects such as power distribution, medium-voltage systems, or similar electrical scopes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical and MEP infrastructure construction projects from planning through completion, including schedules, budgets, coordination, and overall execution.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams while maintaining strong communication and relationships.
• Monitor project progress, finances, safety, quality, and compliance to help ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with HEAPY leadership and multidisciplinary teams to resolve issues, support project goals, and deliver a Superior Client Experience.
