Job summary

Genadyne Biotechnologies, Inc. is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems within our manufacturing facility in Hicksville.

You will work with engineering, maintenance, and production teams, document maintenance activities, and follow safety and quality procedures. A technical degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of industry experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical degree, trade school certification, or equivalent experience in Electrical, Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• 2 years of industry experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, assemble and troubleshoot Negative wound pressure devices.
• Repair, replace and install electrical components, motors, sensors, controls, pumps, conveyors and other electrical/mechanical systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure device reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies and industry standards.
