Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment essential to production and packaging.

You will work on mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, read technical manuals, and keep accurate maintenance records while ensuring GMP and food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing maintenance or equivalent.
• Solid mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexible to work weekends/holidays as required.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures.
• Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance across production schedules and shifts as needed.
• Conduct facility maintenance including minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints for accurate repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records: work orders, parts inventory, and service logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Monitor equipment performance and propose reliability improvements.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

• Conduct facility maintenance, including minor plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building upkeep.


• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to complete accurate repairs.


• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts inventory, and service logs.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, and food safety standards.


• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.


• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and productivity.


• Follow all company policies and procedures.
