Job summary

Lockheed Martin's Dragonfly program in Littleton, Colorado seeks an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Technician to support ATLO activities. You will assemble spacecraft hardware, test subsystems, and build/repair ground support equipment in a cleanroom environment.

You should be able to read 3D models and drawings, troubleshoot complex systems, and work shifts (1st-3rd) including overtime. US citizenship is required. Join a mission-focused team delivering spaceflight hardware.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Assemble complex mechanical and electrical components into a final product per work instructions.
  • Read 3D Models, engineering drawings, schematics, parts lists, test procedures, wiring lists and other documentation.
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills; ability to obtain technician certifications (Adhesive Bonding, Cable-harness, Crane Operator, etc).
  • Ability to work shifts in ISO7 cleanroom environment in full cleanroom garb.
  • Ability to support shift work (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), extended shifts, weekend work, and overtime as needed for a 24/7 test operation.
  • Must be a United States citizen.

Dragonfly Technician Sr Job Description

We are seeking an electrical/mechanical Technician (Spacecraft Technician) to perform a wide variety of tasks requiring mechanical assembly, and electrical test skills to support the Dragonfly program's Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) team in Littleton, Colorado. The Dragonfly program is part of LM Space's Exploration line of business.

Summary Of Key Duties For This Position

  • Able to read and comprehend information from 3D Models, engineering drawings, schematics, parts lists, test procedures, wiring connection lists, and other information and documentation.
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to obtain all technician certifications (Adhesive Bonding, Cable-harness, Personnel Aerial Lift Device, Crane Operator, etc).
  • Ability to work shifts in ISO7 cleanroom environment in full cleanroom garb.
  • Ability to support shift work (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), extended shifts, weekend work, and overtime as needed for a 24/7 test operation.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
Desired Skills
  • Experience in optical instrument/sensor assembly and test environment.
  • Experience in spacecraft or missile assembly, environmental test, and launch operations.
  • Experience in aviation operations, automotive repair, and/or relevant military experience.
  • A&P License and/or ASE Master Technician Certifications
  • Experience with overhead crane operations, personnel aerial lifting devices (scissor and boom lifts), and forklift operations
  • Experience with general test and measurement equipment
  • Experience in assembly and maintenance of complex mechanisms.
  • Experience in textile/canvas repair and upholstery/tailoring
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $47100.00 - $87500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
