Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a qualified Quality Control Inspector to support installation and integration of large electrical equipment in a factory setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of NEC, NEMA, and IEEE codes, plus experience with torque verification and bolted connections.

On-the-floor responsibilities include inspecting switchgear, transformers, and bus systems, documenting results, and coordinating with production and engineering to resolve issues while

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electrical inspection or installation in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and power equipment.
• Familiarity with NEC, NEMA, IEEE codes.
• Experience with torque requirements and bolted connections.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with NCRs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Electrical certification or license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical equipment installations including switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and bus systems.
• Verify installations comply with applicable codes and standards (NEC, NEMA, IEEE).
• Inspect electrical and mechanical connections including torque verification.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Verify cable routing, terminations, grounding, and bonding.
• Monitor installations to ensure adherence to procedures and standards.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Generate and manage NCRs.
• Coordinate with production and engineering to resolve issues.
