Job summary

MSI Express, INC seeks a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment per electrical diagrams and manuals while upholding safety and GMP standards. The role uses a CMMS on mobile devices to record work orders and reports to ensure product integrity and customer specifications are met.

The position covers preventative maintenance, gear/actuator repairs, welding, and HVAC support. Experience in industrial settings with PLCs is preferred; training will be provided for food

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years in an industrial setting preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on drives, belts, and components.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment (motors, pneumatics, PLCs).
• Document work orders using CMMS on mobile devices.
• Repair gearboxes, clutches, actuators; replace worn parts.
• Clean and reassemble machinery; fabricate parts as needed.
• Weld using MIG, TIG, and Arc techniques.
• Assist with HVAC systems as needed.
• Train junior technicians and operators.
• Support food safety and quality initiatives.
