Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is hiring Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for our High street facility in Hanover, PA. This full-time role covers a weekend schedule to keep automated lines and packaging equipment running, with on-site work on Fridays through Mondays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical)
• Experience with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution tech
• Skilled in diagnosing issues with sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panels
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights up to 30 feet
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail
• Experience in food manufacturing or packaging is a plus

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipment
• Work with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensors
• Install, wire, and maintain relays, motors, and electrical panels
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately
• Install conduit and related electrical raceways to support upgrades
