Job summary

LVI Associates-based employer is seeking Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (I, II, Lead) to design and deliver custom low- and medium-voltage power distribution equipment. Roles involve close collaboration with manufacturing, operations, and cross-functional teams to meet customer and production needs.

Lead roles provide technical direction, mentorship, and workload coordination, while I/II focus on design development, documentation, and manufacturing support. Strong problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with engineered products and power distribution equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, BOMs, revision control, and problem-solving methods.
• Experience with CAD tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical or mechanical designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Interpret customer and order requirements while identifying missing, conflicting, or non-standard inputs.
• Apply engineering standards, design review processes, configuration management, and change control procedures.
• Support manufacturing, quality, and operations teams with technical issue resolution and root-cause investigations.
• Coordinate with engineering, drafting, operations, and customer-facing teams throughout project execution.
