Job summary

Tekni Plex is hiring for a full-time Night Shift Electrical Mechanic at the Van Wert, OH plant. The role focuses on set up, maintenance, repairs, and service of production equipment, with robotics training provided after hire.

Must be adept with electrical/mechanical systems and work on a night shift from 4:45 PM to 5:00 AM. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, and preparing machinery for runs; a $3k sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience and/or training.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production.
• Build and repair mold screens.
• Execute preventative maintenance and replace defective parts.
• Prepare and setup machinery for scheduled production runs.
