Job summary

Jabil is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to coordinate daily activities, train team members, and drive continuous improvement within the production cell in Memphis. The role requires hands-on leadership, problem solving, and adherence to safety and quality procedures.

The candidate will work under supervision while developing technical skills, interpreting drawings, and performing root cause analysis with the process engineering team. This position emphasizes teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics component identification, proper handling, packaging media and placement techniques.
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and schematics.
• Jabil QC certification is required within three months of attaining this position.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic assembly drawings is preferred but not required.
• Basic electricity and plumbing knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Solder skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and directs the day-to-day activities of the work area and production schedule.
• Trains team members on workstations and coordinates training (team skill training, reporting, and OJT).
• Reviews attendance and supports vacation/personal time decisions.
• Recruits, trains, and monitors the performance of Manufacturing Technicians.
• Ensures safety and ESD practices and interfaces with others to drive corrective actions.
