Job summary

Jabil in Memphis, TN seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to coordinate daily production and lead a work area. You will train team members, monitor production schedules, ensure 5S+1 practices, and escalate issues to meet goals.

The role requires problem solving, interpretation of drawings, and collaboration with process engineering for root-cause analysis. Experience with safety and ESD practices is essential, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Knowledge of electronics components and handling.
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and schematics.
Jabil QC certification required within three months of attaining this position.
Basic understanding of pneumatic drawings preferred but not required.
Basic electricity and plumbing knowledge preferred but not required.
Solder skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Direct day-to-day activities of the work area and ensure production schedule adherence.
Train team members on workstations and coordinate training (team skill training, reporting, and on‑the‑job training).
Escalate production issues and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
Review attendance records and manage timecards with Facilitator approval.
Recruit, train, and monitor the performance of Manufacturing Technicians.
Ensure safety and ESD practices are followed; coordinate with other groups for issues.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
