Job summary

Alexander Dennis Limited in Las Vegas, NV, seeks an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to support production, lead continuous improvement, and deliver projects from concept to introduction in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot electrical systems on vehicles, read schematics, and develop SOPs while supporting ECRs and line optimization to meet KPIs and safety goals. 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on manufacturing experience, preferably vehicle related.
• Strong background in electrical engineering and systems troubleshooting.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience leading or supporting Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
• Lean tools knowledge and structured problem-solving experience.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and implement safe working practices on the shop floor.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity, cost efficiency, and quality.
• Troubleshoot electrical and process issues on production lines and vehicles.
• Read schematics and blueprints to support assembly and diagnostics.
• Develop SOPs, safe practices, and line-build documentation.
• Lead ECRs with accurate implementation and documentation.
• Support line layouts, takt charts, time studies, and build-hour reviews.
