Job summary

Alexander Dennis is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join our production team and help ensure delivery, cost, quality, and safety goals are met on the shop floor. You will be hands-on, lead continuous improvement projects, read electrical drawings, support ECRs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced bus manufacturing environment.

This role offers on-site work in Las Vegas with opportunities to grow within a global leader in zero-emission mobility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years hands-on manufacturing experience, preferably vehicle manufacturing.
• Strong electrical systems troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience leading or supporting Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
• Experience with Lean tools and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and safe working practices.
• Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot electrical and process issues on the line.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on vehicles and implement fixes.
• Read electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and safe working practices.
• Lead and support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
• Optimize line layouts, takt charts, and time studies.
• Collaborate in line support meetings and issue resolution.
• Provide technical specs for tools, equipment, and monitoring.
• Deliver results meeting KPIs and long-term goals.
