Job Summary

This Electrical Manufacturing Engineer position within the Operations team will be mentored by the Electrical Engineering team. The role involves working with complex digital and analog electronics systems, performing hands-on reworks, design contributions, and leading projects related to failure analysis and resolution. The engineer will familiarize with Daylight's laser systems and manufacturing processes, working closely with Electrical Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.

Job Responsibilities
  • Resolve electrical issues in production lines, including tooling, harnesses, and circuit boards.
  • Perform failure analysis and lead corrective actions on faulty components or assemblies.
  • Conduct electronics reworks when vendor lead times are long.
  • Prototype harnesses and test boards for in-development products.
  • Document test setups and protocols.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions for electrical assemblies.
  • Contribute to design and development of test fixtures and procedures.
  • Assist with debugging firmware/software from hardware perspective.
  • Assemble and test low-volume electrical products under supervision.
  • Support organizational mission, values, and culture.
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong ability to read circuit diagrams and troubleshoot hardware failures.
  • Basic CAD and simulation experience preferred.
  • Production line work experience preferred.
  • Quick learner, self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years relevant experience.
  • Technical expertise and application domain knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently.

The pay scale ranges from $89,491 to $133,788 annually, influenced by various factors including experience, location, and internal considerations.
